Sodus Bay Yacht Club was founded in 1893 and is one of the oldest yacht clubs on Lake Ontario. It is also known as one of the friendliest, entertaining many visiting boaters from Canada as well as from places further afield. Located in the heart of Sodus Point village, it is within walking distance of several fine restaurants, the Lighthouse Museum, and a beach. SBYC can be your destination for cruising, vacationing, dining, quality large and small boat racing venues and just relaxing.

From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, Sodus Bay Yacht Club offers a full-service bar and dining in our spacious dining room.

The club’s second floor provides a lounge with a television and assorted videos as well as a library of books for loan. It is a quiet space where members may relax and read or chat.

The 58 slips and 12 moorings are available for members on a seniority basis. There are 6 regular transit slips for guests and if members are not using their slips or moorings, these may also be available for short-term transits. Full restroom facilities, including showers, are available to visiting sailors.

A boat launch and hoist are available for dry sailors. In addition, the club has 4 Ideal 18s that are available to members on subscription.
